A miracle of engineering, in one night the spider had managed to sling a support for the web across a space of over 8 feet from hedge to hedge. Then constructed the web as well. I sprayed the web with water from a hand sprayer just to show it up more against the backdrop of the track.

Within every environment there needs to be balance and spiders help in this respect. It is a natural system, organic and environmentally sound. They are needed for a well balanced eco system.
